Parkour Mausam for Shahid

New Delhi, June 9 -- Yes, it seems to be true. The Kaminey star is being extremely professional and even a perfectionist for his role in his dad Pankaj Kapoor's film. The actor plays a fighter pilot in the film and he'll be learning the sport of Parkour for the film. Parkour is the discipline of overcoming obstacles in the path and requires tremendous balance, fluidity, precision and control. It is a very popular concept in the West and has been exploited for stunts in films like Casino Royale, Iron Man 2 and even Prince of Persia among others. According to CNN-IBN, Shahid will be flying his trainer Abbas Ali to Scotland, where he's shooting for his training. Ali will be responsible for preparing the actor's body for the action sequences and seems to have already started work on this task. "I have already mailed him (Shahid) the first set of exercises. He plays a fighter pilot and the training will be on the lines of what the NDA (National Defence Academy) guys do. He further adds, "Shahid has never been through Parkour training and so I have prepared a set of exercises called Parkour conditioning. This prepares the body to take a fall and makes you more flexible. He might also do some Parkour moves in the film."What can we say? Must be the Kapoor-Parkour connection!
